Celebrating 20 years of delicious adventures!
A
culinary education business in Healdsburg, California, in the
heart of the Sonoma County wine country.
Relish combines talented chefs,
fabulous cuisine and captivating rural settings, including the beautiful Relish Culinary Center in downtown Healdsburg, to create
one-of-a-kind authentic food experiences, including cooking classes, tours and other
creative culinary events for individuals, groups, and businesses.
Our goal is to
celebrate seasonal, local food and provide a fresh and inspiring learning
experience for everyone at every event.
Conde Nast Traveler "21 Best Places to Go in 2021" "Head to Healdsbug, a hamlet in the heart of Sonoma County known for its small-town charm and world-class food and wine."
Wine Enthusiast "2019 Wine Region of the Year: Sonoma County" "Diverse, sustainable, nature-loving and approachable.... Cheese makers, brewers and chefs mingle with winemakers in the county’s relaxed towns of Sonoma, Healdsburg, Sebastopol and Santa Rosa, and they’re always happy to share their passion for a life close to the land."
The Best of 15 Years
at the Relish Culinary Center
Relish Culinary Adventures is moving out of our downtown Healdsburg location in April. After 15 years in this wonderul and unique space in this wonderful and unique town, I knew a while ago that I would not renew my lease when it expired this year.
Ironically, business is strong so Relish is not going away entirely. We'll return to our adventurous roots to offer one-of-a-kind experiences at partner locations—scenic local farms and wineries—and other custom events. And over time I hope to add other types of experiences that build on our love for and relationships with local producers, makers and artisans, such as Sonoma County culinary excursions
To celebrate our amazing run we're hosting a series of "Best of 15 Years at the Relish Culinary Center" events in March and early April with some of our favorite chefs:
These are all hands-on classes which means participants will hang out with these engaging and notable chefs while cooking under their guidance. We'll create lovely new memories along with a hearty, delicious dinner, sharing the communal table to feast on the just-created meal with specially selected wines. I am hopeful that these classes are popular and sell out quickly, so register soon!
As I sort through old photos and menus in preparation for these "Best of" classes, I've thoroughly enoyed the flashbacks and memories from so many fantastic events, including classes from the first 4½ years before the Center. (I'll be sharing some on Facebook and Instagram so please follow Relish if you don't already.)
I can't thank you enough for supporting this crazy almost-20-year adventure to inspire home cooks, support local chefs and producers, and highlight our incomparable Sonoma County foodshed.
Here's to the next chapter!
